5月14日，丝绸之路城市联盟创始人三缘先生前往阿拉伯埃及共和国大使馆拜会埃及驻华大使乌萨马·马格杜布阁下，联盟常务秘书长杜明皓、文化参赞易卜拉辛、埃及使馆领事部主任阿塔拉等在座。双方在亲切的气氛中，就联盟与大使馆开展交流与合作进行了深入讨论。
On May 14, Mr. San Yuan, the Founder of Silk Road Cities Alliance (SRCA), visited the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt to meet with His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Osama Elmagdoub. The Executive Secretary General of SRCA Mr. Du Minghao, Cultural Counselor of the Egyptian Embassy Mr. Hussein Ibrahim, Head of the Consular Section of the Egyptian Embassy Mr. Khaled Atallah were present at the meeting. The two parties conducted an in-depth discussions on the exchanges and cooperation between Silk Road Cities Alliance and the Embassy.
三缘先生介绍了联盟的宗旨以及在文化、健康和专业服务等领域开展的主要工作，表示联盟愿与大使馆积极沟通，开展文化等多领域合作，为中埃友好及两国民间共建、共享一带一路做出贡献。
Mr. San Yuan introduced the mission of SRCA and the major work, conducted in the areas of culture, health and professional services. He expressed willingness to conduct active communication with the Embassy and carry out joint cooperation with the Embassy in various fields. SRCA is looking forward to contributing to the friendship between China and Egypt, as well as promoting joint participation of the people of the two countries in the Belt and Road initiative.
三缘先生重点介绍了联盟将于6月和8月举办的嘉峪关美食文化节和丝路青年梦想汇等大型跨文化交流活动，并邀请埃及驻华使馆参与上述活动，展示埃及传统文化、旅游资源及中埃友谊，促进两国文化交流、地方合作与青年交流。
Mr. San Yuan introduced the two large-scale cross-cultural exchange events by SRCA: Jiayuguan Silk Road Food Cultural Festival in June and Silk Road Young Dreams youth competition in August. He also invited the Egyptian Embassy in China to participate in the above activities to display the traditional Egyptian culture and tourism resources, and to promote Chinese-Egyptian friendship, youth exchanges, and regional cooperation between the two countries.
马格杜布大使阁下感谢三缘先生的介绍，对联盟近年来卓有成效地开展工作表示祝贺。他感谢联盟邀请埃及驻华使馆参与有关文化交流活动，表示大使馆将高度重视，推荐过硬的展品和人员，精心策划、认真组织，以期达到预期参与效果。
Ambassador Mr. Osama Elmagdoub thanked Mr. San Yuan for the introduction and congratulated SRCA on its successful work during recent years. He expressed appreciation for inviting the Embassy of Egypt in China to participate in cultural exchange activities and kindly reassured that the Embassy would attach great importance to recommending excellent exhibits and personnel; careful planning and conscientious organizing work will be conducted in order to achieve the expected participation effect.
双方还就其他文化合作项目进行了讨论，并一致同意，联盟与大使馆将密切保持沟通协作，共同促进中埃友好和人文交流。
The two parties also discussed other cultural cooperation projects and agreed that SRCA and the Embassy will maintain close communication and cooperation, they will jointly promote friendship and cultural exchanges between China and Egypt.
