On April 13, Mr. Sanyuan, the founder of the Silk Road Cities Alliance, and H. E. Carlos Larrea Dávila, Ambassador of Ecuador to China, discussed how to help Ecuador better fight the epidemic through video conference. Mr. Sanyuan said that SRCA was very concerned about the development of the epidemic and was mobilizing all sectors of the society to raise anti-epidemic materials to support Ecuador. He added that Chinese companies are also experiencing difficult time with the impact of the epidemic. Both China and Ecuador can discuss a new way of cooperation that is conducive to the victory of the epidemic and the sustainable development of Chinese and Ecuadorian enterprises. The Ambassador first thanked the Chinese government and all sectors of society including SRCA for their support to Ecuador ’s fight against the epidemic. He also believed that new mode of cooperation proposed by Mr. Sanyuan was very constructive. The Embassy will report to the relevant Ecuadorian departments to discuss the operability of this proposal. As a partner of the Embassy, SRCA's rationalization proposal for anti-epidemic of Ecuador from a practical point of view well interpreted "A friend in need is a friend indeed". At present, the urgently needed materials in Ecuador are protective clothing, masks and ventilators, while Ecuador also has good resources and products. The solidarity and cooperation of the companies of both countries will certainly realize mutual benefits and overcome the difficulties.
