Application Extension of The 3rd Silk Road & Young Dreams

  The 3rd Silk Road & Young Dreams will be held on August 12, 2020, which takes “Health” as its theme, and aims to show the moved stories during the pandemic and responsibility of youth in participating in global health governance.
  At present, contestants from more than 40 countries and regions including China, Greece, Cyprus, Philippines, Malaysia, Maldives, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Pakistan, Mongolia, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Egypt, Ukraine, Argentina have registered.
  In order to encourage more outstanding young people to participate, application deadline of all the contests has been deferred to May 31st, 2020.
  The event consists of five contests, including Speech, Music, Photography, Sand Painting and Sculpture, as well as Field Visits to urban public health institutions, Award Ceremony and Cultural Exchange activities.
  Mr. Li Zhaoxing, Former Foreign Minister of China, has always paid close attention to the growth of young people, and spoke highly of the Silk Road & Young Dreams event. He wrote a message to the Silk Road youth, hoping that the young people will "learn happily, be able to be fair and capable, and work hard for peace, for the people. Let each tomorrow be better than today!"
 
  Ms. Martina Lubyova, Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sports of Slovakia, highly praised the event and expressed her strong supports to this program.
  Mr. Wu Weishan, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, world-famous sculptor, and director of the National Art Museum of China, provided strong support and guidance for the new added sculpture contest.
