On Wednesday 24th July 2019, Silk Road Cities Alliance was very privileged to welcome Mr. Mohamed Rasheed, former Ambassador of Maldives to China, Presidential Adviser and President of China-Maldives Cultural Association. Mr. Mohamed Rasheed was given the opportunity to study in China as a young man and so he is very familiar with the Chinese language and speaks quite fluently. Mr. Mohammed Rasheed, apart from being an outstanding diplomat, also comes from a medical background and has previously worked in the World Health Organization. He has visited and served in many countries including Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Vanuatu, Manila, India and Geneva. He shared his in depth knowledge and experience through wonderful and interesting stories.After Mr. Mohamed Rasheed’s educational talk, he signed a cooperation agreement with the founder of Silk Road and Cities Alliance (SRCA), Mr. Song. The agreement was signed on the basis of Silk Road and Young Dreams Program under SRCA. The lecture marked the beginning of many more events in the future as CMCA becomes a partner of the Silk Road and Young Dreams program.
