Both sides exchanged the views on current cooperation between China and Iran in various fields. As Mr. Keshavarzzadeh noticed, one of the main problem for Iran nowadays is country’s image problem. For many foreigners Iran doesn’t seem to be a safe country to travel that is why travel industry of Iran is still not developed while Iran can offer lots of tourism resources. Mr. San Yuan agreed that media world which greatly influences opinions of people is dominated by western media who don’t listen to the point of views of other countries. Lack of true reliable information about countries is a serious issue.
The ambassador told about new visa-free regime between Iran and China, which shows how hospitable Iranian people are. The founder of SRCA called the new regulation one of the biggest achievements in two countries’ relations. Both sides consider people-to-people connections to be the foundation of Silk Road. Thus, the ambassador highlighted the crucial role of Silk Road Cities Alliance in the development of such connections and cooperation between people of different countries along Belt and Road. Mr. San Yuan noticed that youth development on the Silk Road is one of the most important tasks for SRCA since young people are the future of Silk Road. Mr. Keshavarzzadeh expressed his support of SRCA’s work, saying that the projects of the organization bring cooperation to the new level. Iranian side and Silk Road Cities Alliance decided to strengthen cooperation in all spheres.
