“Shiny Life – Celebrating a Beautiful International Women`s Day by Exploring the Beauty of Chinese Classical Arts” event held by SRCA and partners

One of the main highlights and the first stage of the event was the opening of “Shiny Life – Celebrating a Beautiful International Women`s Day” art exhibition by 12 female artists from the Chinese Central Academy of Fine Arts. Their works included Chinese paintings, oil paintings, prints, sculptures, jewellery designs and other works of art. The exhibition was opened with the speech by the curator of the exhibition and Director of Co-Innovation Office of the Chinese Central Academy of Fine Arts Ms. Yue Jieqiong. The participating artists are: Zhu Xi, Lu Yue, Liu Liping, Chen Xi, Zhang Yanzi, Zhou Siqi, Xie Qing, Yu Mei, Lin Cunzhen, Kang Lei, Zhang Fan, and Ma Jiawei. They introduced their works and exchanged opinions with the foreign and Chinese guests. 

After enjoying the visual art part of the event, the guests proceeded to the music hall for the guqin culture introduction and performance by Juntianfang Guqin Base Founder, outstanding guqin master and interior designer Mr. Wang Peng and his team. The musicians, who performed, are: Wang Peng (guqin), Zhang Lu (guqin), Xiao Gang (flute), Bi Liang (guqin), Gong Ge (guqin), Xu Jiang Yingzi (Chinese lute). Beautiful sounds of guqin made everyone soak into the ancient guqin culture, not only being the audience of the performance, but also having a chance to experience the role of a guqin performer and learn basic melody under the guidance of Mr. Wang Peng and members of his team.

Afterwards, the guests had a chance to try elegant traditional style clothing of “Qinyunyoulan” brand, enjoy Chinese excellent teas selection or get acquainted with the organic products of the event`s sponsor - “Dr. Plant” cosmetics company, that provided delicious dinner and presents for the guests.

During the dinner, Former Ambassador of China to Austria Mr. Lu Yonghua, Counsellor of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in China Ms. Enisa Hadzovic, Deputy Director of the National Art Museum of China Ms. An Yuanyuan addressed guests with the speeches, wishing Happy International Women`s Day and sharing their high appraisal for all the thorough work, made by the organizers to hold the event. Finally, Founder of Silk Road Cities Alliance Mr. San Yuan, has concluded the event with his remarks.
